Singapore turns 61 this August, and we're marking it the way we mark most good things — at the counter. For the whole month, our omakase is 61 SGD: six courses, chosen by the chef, served in the order they're meant to be eaten.
What "omakase" means
Omakase translates roughly to "I'll leave it to you." You put the meal in the chef's hands and let the counter lead — no menu to decode, no decisions beyond what to drink. It's the easiest way to eat well.
What's included
Six courses, one set price of $61:
Sashimi — four pieces, sliced to order
Nigiri sushi — five pieces
Agemono — one piece, crisp from the fryer
Hand roll — two, served while the nori is still crackling
