We know a lot of you were sad that you couldn't get your weekly salmon fix on Christmas Eve, so this Thursday, December 27 (and also on New Year's Eve) you can celebrate with salmon! $3 salmon sashimi, $1 sake, and $5 Asahi beer.  Cheers to the holiday season and get ready for 2013!

December 21, 2012 - Christmas Special Set and Monday Madness

Hi all!  We have a special Christmas set meal available.  You can find the details here.  Since Christmas Eve falls on a Monday, we will still have our incredible sake promotion but will only have the a la carte and Christmas set available (no $3 salmon sashimi or regular set meals on December 24).  However, we want to make sure everyone can still get that salmon goodness so will hold the madness on Thursday, December 27!  Book space now at Queen Street!

We are in the midst of refreshing our menu at 8 Queen Street, and we have recently added a snack menu for Marina Bay Link Mall.  At our Marina Bay Branch we now have edamame, tori karaage, salmon skin, kani salad, chuka wakame, asari butteryaki, asari miso soup, and kawa ebi available.  If you're in Raffles Place looking to have Japanese bar bites while enjoying sake or beer, Standing Sushi Bar Marina Bay Link Mall is the place!

Night Festival Promotion & Sushi Roll

To celebrate the late-night hours during Night Festival 2012, we've created a special menu for the late night.  In addition to the menu we will have a great deal on a large glass of sake ($4), umeshu ($5), and braised salmon ($10).  Most exciting, we have created the world's first sushi roll using Red Bull as a base ingredient.  After all, if you're staying up late at night you need energy to power through!  Come try out the Night Owl sushi roll, available on August 24, 25, 31,
and September 1!

Free Entry to the Art Museum during August 2012

During the month of August, all Singapore citizens and permanent residents enjoy free entry to the permanent galleries.  On August 24, 25, 31, and September 1 everyone (citizen, tourist, anybody!) can access the museums for free as well as visit the Night Festival.  On those nights the festivities will last until 2 AM and Standing Sushi Bar 8 Queen Street will be offering 4 dollar sake as well as a special menu and Night Owl sushi roll.  Details coming soon!
